This patient is a 41-year old mother from Shelton who needed a change. She found herself unhappy with her matronly appearance. The loose skin and excess fat around her abdomen made her feel uncomfortable in tight clothing. Her heavy breasts were loose and painful. She was 5’2”, 157 lbs, and a size 12. She came to my Westport, Connecticut office for a Mommy Makeover.

                In our consultation we discussed what was bothering her. At this point, she just wanted to wear sexy jeans that would define her waistline. We decided that the best way to accomplish her goal would be for her to undergo an abdominoplasty procedure. Later we would move on to her other problem area, her breasts and perform a breast reduction.

                During her abdominoplasty procedure in Connecticut, I removed 1,250 cc of lax skin and fat from her abdomen. For this patient, there was little to no pain after the procedure, just a tight feeling from the muscles being restructured. Only a couple weeks later she was back to normal.

                Two months later she came in wearing great jeans and was pleased to know that she could finally fit into them. All of her curves were where they belonged.  She is now a size 8.

                As the second part of her Mommy Makeover, this woman returned to raise her breast position, and reduce the volume from 38 DDD to 36 D. A breast reduction was a successful solution.
