Breast Augmentation/Mastopexy
At 26 yo, this 5’3”, 133 lb, 34C woman looked forward to gaining greater proportion between her hips and bust line. Many of her friends had undergone Breast Augmentation and she was ready to do the same. Simply tired of clothes not fitting, she made the commitment to meet with Dr. Mahony and learn all she could about implants.
Her primary concern was safety. She knew she was young and had a good chance of needing some kind of revision in her lifetime. But in the short term, she wanted to be sure that if she developed a leak, the contents of the implant would not cause her harm. Dr. Mahony is one of the few surgeons with experience in both saline and silicone gel implants and this young woman was interested in learning about the pros and cons of each.
Her consultation was very informative and fun! She tried on a variety of sizers and was able to confidently select the implant size (350cc) that would best meet her expectations. Now a 34DD, she is enjoying the shape and proportion she had long imagined!
