I was seriously considering scheduling a consultation with Dr. Mahony because I was very impressed by the results shown in her gallery. Unfortunately, my interaction with a staff member, Nichole, left a very negative impression. When I called with a few questions and asked whether she could provide an approximate price range for liposuction, I was met with what felt like a dismissive and condescending attitude. Her response was, “How would I know? I don’t even have access to that information.” I explained that I was doing my research and comparing factors such as pricing, before-and-after galleries, and consultation fees. Since consultations are an additional expense, I explained that I preferred to have at least a general idea of the potential surgical cost before deciding whether to move forward with a doctor whose work I liked. Nichole then responded, “Well, how would you even know if you liked them or not if you haven’t even met them” I understand that EXACT pricing cannot be provided without an in-person evaluation and that costs vary depending on the individual/ areas being treated. However, I was only asking for a general starting price or approximate range to help determine whether the practice was within my budget before paying for a consultation. Overall, the tone of the conversation felt unnecessarily patronizing and discouraging, especially toward a prospective patient simply trying to make an informed decision. Unfortunately, the interaction left a bad taste in my mouth and ultimately discouraged me from scheduling a consultation. ‼️ UPDATE (in response to the LOVELY owner): For clarification, I did not call Nichole “at around 6p.m. on a Friday night.” She initiated the phone call to me. The emphasis placed on the timing of the call therefore is misleading, as I did not choose the time or expect a staff member to remain at the office to accommodate me. I also never requested an exact or customized surgical quote without an examination, nor did I assume that you (the surgeon) would automatically accept me as a patient. I asked whether the practice could provide a general estimated price range so that I could determine whether paying for a consultation would be financially reasonable. Every other board-certified plastic surgeon’s office I contacted was able to provide an approximate range while clearly explaining that the final cost would depend on an in-person evaluation and individualized surgical plan. Rather than simply clarifying the practice’s pricing policy, the owner’s response characterized my request as “entitlement” multiple times and made assumptions about my expectations and intentions. I found the tone unnecessarily dismissive and unprofessional. Prospective patients can read both my review and the owner’s response and decide whether this style of communication is a good fit for them. Based on this interaction, the refusal to provide even a broad estimate before a paid consultation left me concerned about the practice’s approach to pricing transparency. I cannot say enough amazing things about Dr. Mahony and her entire team. My breast reduction has truly changed my life, and choosing Dr. Mahony was the best decision I have ever made. Going into this process, I was extremely nervous. This felt like a huge, life-changing procedure, and I wanted to make sure I was making the right choice. Even after surgery, whenever I had a question or concern, I received a response right away, which gave me so much peace of mind throughout the recovery process. I also have to give a huge shoutout to her staff. They are absolutely AMAZING. Every person I interacted with was kind, professional, responsive, and genuinely caring. I'll never forget how nervous I was right before surgery, but as soon as Jubie and Dr. Mahony came to see me, I immediately felt calmer. Their kindness and reassurance made all the difference throughout the whole process. If you are considering a breast reduction, I cannot recommend Dr. Mahony enough. She is not only an incredibly talented surgeon but also one of the most caring and dedicated doctors I have ever met. Thank you, Dr. Mahony, Jubie, and the entire staff for changing my life and making what felt like a scary process such a positive experience. The results are better than I ever dreamed they could be, and I truly could not be happier. I am beyond grateful for all of you.

Very pleased with my results. Dr. Mahoney is very knowledgeable. I was comfortable during the consultation where she provided a detailed explanation of what to expect, which ultimately made me decide to go with her over my other choices. She kept my expectations realistic but still gave me what I wanted. My only suggestion would be to be more respectful of the patient’s decision to not release public photo consent. I felt like I was being pressured into changing my mind and had to say no multiple times during my first follow up which was a little awkward. Otherwise a positive experience and I recommend!

I absolutely love my results! Dr. Mahoney is truly an artist. She contoured my body beautifully and gave me the shape I had always envisioned for myself. At my first post-operative appointment, the day after surgery, Jubie—who is also amazing—helped me see my results for the first time. I actually teared up. I’ve always wanted my body to look “snatched” because that’s how I pictured myself in my head, and Dr. Mahoney made that vision a reality. If you’re considering 360 liposuction or any other procedure, I have no doubt that you’ll be pleased with your experience. Dr. Mahoney, Jubie, and the surgical team thoroughly explained what to expect throughout the recovery process. Everything happened exactly as they described, so I never felt disappointed or caught off guard. The pain was very manageable. I was up and walking slowly the same night as surgery and felt even better the following day. Each week brought noticeable changes. During the first week, I experienced soreness and swelling. By the second week, I was still sore and swollen, with bruising becoming more apparent. During the third week, the bruising started to fade, the swelling began to decrease, and my stomach started to harden. By the fourth week, I was seeing amazing improvements and feeling much more confident. I even took a trip to Florida and wore new bikinis with a level of confidence I’ve never had before. One piece of advice: stay consistent with your massages. If possible, I highly recommend seeing a therapeutic massage therapist for lymphatic drainage massages. They felt amazing and were very helpful during recovery. Thank you, Dr. Mahoney, Jubie, and the rest of the staff. You truly changed my life 💜
