Treatment options for FUPA
FUPA is best treated with plastic surgery to not only get noticeable results, but long-lasting results. Surgery will often involve two steps. A small incision is made in the area, where a cannula is inserted. The device suctions fat cells into the cannula and into a collection canister to permanently eliminate these fat cells. The second step is excess skin removal. After liposuction, there might be excess skin that remains. If not removed, it can cause sagging that can become problematic for patients.
