Breast Augmentation
This 22 year old, 5’5″, 120 lb woman was sick and tired of having a full figure on the bottom end and a petite figure on the upper end (A Cup). Rather than spend another day with this frustration, she decided she would do something about it- breast augmentation. She wanted to learn as much as she could about the difference between implant types ( saline v gel), incisions and placement above or below the muscle.
It didn’t take long for her to find Dr. Mahony. She wanted a woman surgeon with experience and someone to whom she could comfortably talk with about her goals and future issues, like breast feeding and mammograms. It was easy to set up her consultation and she was invited to bring along some shirts and tops to use with implant sizers. The consultation was more than she hoped for and all of her questions were readily answered.
Her surgery went smoothly, using 375 cc high profile fel impants in the submuscular position, through incisions below her breasts. She only needed a couple of days off from work. She enjoys a D cup bra now and finally has the proportions that make sense for her body!
