Corrective Breast Surgery – Deflation
This 33 year old (5’2, 103lbs) woman had previously underwent Breast Augmentation by another surgeon in 2006 with saline implants. Sometime later, she fell from a ladder, injured her chest and developed a slow leak from her left implant. As you can see, after several months she had almost a total deflation on her left side. Although she did not suffer any health risks, she was very troubled by the appearance…as one could imagine!
Luckily she found Dr. Mahony after not one but three friend’s recommendations! After her first visit to Dr. Mahony’s office she scheduled her revision surgery to have both implants removed and replaced. Dr. Mahony placed the saline implants in the submuscular position with 400cc on the right and 370 on the left. Saline implants were a great choice for this lady. The differential volumes enabled Dr. Mahony to obtain the desired symmetrical appearance.
