Ear Pinning
At 22-years old, this young woman finally decided it was time to make a change. Growing up, she was always self-conscious about her ears, which in return made her shy. The woman thought her ears stuck out way too much, and she was concerned that her ears were the only things that people paid attention to. The woman was so embarassed by her ears that she never wore her hair up; she always kept her hair down to cover them. She now felt that this was the time to take charge of her appearance. This young woman came into my office to get her ears pinned back (otoplasty) closer to her head.
After her otoplasty surgery, the woman was so thrilled with her results. She loved the new appearance of her ears. Before surgery, whenever she looked in the mirror, her ears were the only thing she saw. Now she is relieved to see her face again without her protruding ears. She is also ecstatic to finally wear her hair up without worrying about her ears sticking out. Now the 22-year old is on her way to becoming a new confident, outgoing and sexy woman.
