Breast Augmentation
This lovely young woman (20 y/o, 5’0”, 107 lb, size 34C) had always enjoyed the very full figured bust line that reminds us of summer time, California beaches and string bikinis. That is, until she had children and breast fed. As much as she loved her son and felt fortunate to still fill a bra cup (C ), she was determined to get back to the round shape and size from her earlier days.
With all of the Breast Augmentation information out there on the internet, it can get a bit confusing. Over the muscle? Under the muscle??Gel or saline? How big of an implant will fit? And, what size implant would it take to both lift up and project her current volume of breast tissue? Because one thing she knew for sure, she didn’t want to do a mastopexy or anything what would leave scars on her breasts. So, she took the time to do her online research and talked to some dancer friends who had similar goals- which doctor could she trust with this decision?

The surgery was smooth sailing and her hospital experience was great! Because she was less than 22 years old, saline implants were chosen. These were placed over the muscle in order to better support and ‘lift’ her breasts as well as to translate the round implant shape over to her own breasts. The fill volume of the implants was in the 400+cc range and boosted her cup size to the DD range–as hoped! It looks like a great summer lays ahead!
