Breast Augmentation
Being in the sales business is a full throttle profession and being a Mom of a toddler takes the day- to- day obligations to an all-time high! This 37 yo lady, 32B, lives in Massachusetts and covers a wide region for surgical sales. It goes without saying that she’s been in plenty of operating rooms and seen lots of surgery.
We were honored when she made the trip from MA to CT to learn about Breast Augmentation, it was a real compliment on so many levels! She shared with us that prior to having kids she was a perky 34B. However, when she was breast feeding she went up to a C/D. She liked the added fullness and was a little disappointed, when all was said and done, to drop back to a deflated B cup. Her goal was to restore the volume up to the small C cup range.
There are plenty of plastic surgeons between MA and CT, she knew that. But what was missing was the kind of personality with whom she could connect. She took the time to look for a woman who could meet her expectations. Since there are so few women surgeons, Dr. Mahony came up in a flash. It was a relief to sense that THIS WOMAN could be her surgeon!
The consultation was great as the two ladies compared notes on the types of suture used in the operating room and the different types of surgery. Who knew a consultation could be so much fun and informative!? She tried on various sizers, learned the difference between gel and saline and learned about the recovery. It all made so much sense.
Her outpatient surgery went beautifully! Her personal preference was for saline implants and she chose the Moderate Plus style with a 250-300cc fill capacity. They were filled to 275cc and placed below the muscle. Her recovery involved only a few days out of her “day” job, some ice and Tylenol. Now a 34 full D she is fully back to full throttle once again!
