I am 8 days postop today after having bilateral breast reduction surgery performed by Dr. Ellen Mahony. She and her team of nurses and nurse practitioners have given me the very best care, in every way! My first date for surgery had to be postponed due to a wicked case of poison ivy. During that time, I was in touch with Jubie, almost every day until Dr. Mahony and I decided that the procedure needed to be rescheduled. Alex was able to give me a date just two weeks later. I have had several post op visits and realize that my surgeon is not only a gifted surgeon but a sculptor as well!

I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty this year with Dr. Mahoney. I am 68 years old. I cannot say what a wonderful experience it was - I wish I did it sooner. Dr. Mahoney's staff were all so professional, knowledgeable and personable. And Dr. Mahoney is such a wonderful surgeon. From my first consultation I knew I wouldn't go elsewhere. Everyone took such great care of me after surgery. The overall experience has wanted me to go back just to say hi to everyone! Absolutely phenomenal. From consultation to surgical procedure to everything in between. Greeted consistently with warm care from Claire and Dana who are probably as excited or even more excited for you. Dr Mahony is skilled and a true master at what she does. She is caring and listens to what you are looking for. I can’t tell you how many other plastic surgeons told me what I should do which made me feel uncomfortable but also uncertain. Dr Mahony listened to what concerned me listed my options and explained to me what she felt was the best solution. I just felt super safe with her. When it was time for surgery this is also how I knew I chose right. It was when I was sitting in the surgical center being checked in with other people who too were waiting for their Doctors from all over CT. Watching all the Dr and their nurses walk in and it was only Nayade from Dr Mahony office who took time acknowledged me waiting greeted and hugged me. No one else’s doctor or nurses in that surgical center did that. They walked right past their patients without a simple wave or acknowledgment. That’s the difference I felt. I felt well cared for. After the surgery, In office care is equally great. Jubie answers all of my silly questions with a smile on her face and makes sure that I am healing just well. I was also surprised at how I really didn’t feel much pain hardly any. So recovery was very smooth. The results are night and day. I had two procedures with Dr Mahony both requiring anesthesia and It’s hard to even believe I used to look another way. I look completely different but so natural. I can’t express how impressed and happy I feel about choosing Dr Mahony and her team. I recommend them to everyone! Make the appointment and feel good about making the decision to proceed.
