Three months post opp and the only regret I have is not doing this sooner! Dr. Mahony came highly recommended from two friends, who saw her for different procedures. As a 40 year old mother of 2 who breastfeed, I was left in pretty sad shape. All I wanted was something to fill a bra. Dr. Mahony is compassionate, caring and professional. You will meet with her a bunch, both before and after surgery. I did my homework before coming, so I did have some questions. Dr. Mahony is concerned with the overall look and feeling you are going for. This will be discussed in your consultations. She then uses her "magic" to make it happen for you. I wasn't nervous, and the surgery was a breeze. I followed all of Dr. Mahony's post-opp instructions, and my recovery was quite manageable. I hosted family events only 3 days later and was okay to do so. Now that I have had my implants for 3 months, I can say that they look and feel phenomenal! I went from a 32A to a 32DD with 275 cc high profile gel implants. The perfect size, shape and fit for my body - this was all chosen with consultation, by Dr. Mahony! I had my post-opp pictures yesterday and the only thing I can say is "thank you Dr. Mahony for giving me the confidence in my new figure that I've been missing all these years"!

In my early twenties, I developed an insecurity about a very deep vertical wrinkle between my eyes (they also filled my forehead, but I wasn't super worried about those). Make-up would crease in it, it wouldn't tan but most of all it just looked terrible - to me. Most people would not get Botox because of this, and understandably so, but I decided around 25 that I wanted it and would probably get it. I had done no research on it at this time, and did have the slight fear of turning "frozen". I was introduced to Dr. Mahony and the Westport, CT office back in January 2015; at this time 27 years old. I was given a folder welcoming me to the office along with Dr. Mahony's credentials. At my consultation, I learned that Botox was preventative. Not that I was worried about being too young, but it did make me feel very proactive. I was educated on how my facial expressions throughout life aided in the deepness/amount of wrinkles on my forehead. I decided to get a few injections after the consultation and see what I thought over the next few months.The great thing (or worst!) about Botox is it's temporary. It took a little over a week for that deep wrinkle and some others to disappear, and once they did, I was extremely satisfied. My 2 additional visits this year to Dr. Mahony did not disappoint either. In all honestly, I did not expect to return every 4 months, but the pretty much painless procedure and excellent results kept me on board. The results looks so perfect that work acquaintances did not notice. Family and close friends notice a more youthful face, and my confidence is restored - which is all that matters to me. Dr. Mahony and the staff are wonderful as well. When staff notices you changed your hair, it makes your visits personalized, and you feel appreciated/remembered. 10 stars for my Botox experiences and Dr. Mahony!

Dr. Mahony performed a neck and facelift for me just about three years ago (how fast the time goes!). I'm still loving it! Recovery was fast--two weeks and I was out with a bit of makeup. I am a devoted fan and see her on a regular basis, protecting my investment. She is a compassionate surgeon who provides more than just surgical support. I highly recommend her!

After being overweight for most of my life growing up, as a young adult I made a conscious effort to change my lifestyle in order to better my health. I lost 120lbs over an eighteen month span and maintained the weight loss by eating healthy and working out regularly. With all the hard work I had put in, I still wasn't satisfied with my body. I had excess skin from the weight loss in my abdomen that wouldn't go away with months of focused workouts. I started to fixate on the sagging skin and began to structure my days revolving around workouts, weigh-ins, and food consumption thinking I would somehow be able to fix this on my own. At a size 6, I was paranoid in bathing suits, at the thought of my shirt raising too far above my pants- I was a 22 year old even more insecure about her body than when she was over 100lbs heavier. It got to a point where this obsession was hurting my mental health, so my parents suggested we find out if I was a candidate for abdominoplasty. I was and so after researching online, I found Dr. Mahony and as soon as she sat down in the room at my consultation, I knew I would be choosing her as my surgeon. It's been a month and a half since my surgery and I couldn't be happier! My stomach is flat and my clothes fit the way that they should. I'm not afraid to show my stomach and I've worn a bikini for the first time since I was little girl. Dr. Mahony did an incredible job changing the physical aesthetic of my body and with that, more importantly, she transformed the way that I look at and feel about myself. I couldn't be more appreciative for all the time and care pre and post surgery that she has put in. Thank you, Dr. Mahony!
