Tatyana is a vibrant woman from Bulgaria who seemed to have lost her spark when she first came to see Dr. Mahony. Despite losing over 60lbs on her own, Tatyana was unhappy with the shape of her body. Growing up as an athlete in her country, she felt disconnected to the woman she saw in the mirror and grew frustrated with any exercise regimen. She hid her shape in oversized blouses and shied away from family photos. Her loving and supportive husband found Dr. Mahony online and encouraged her to schedule a consultation.

Tatyana went on to lose another 15 pounds after surgery. She joined her local gym and reacquainted herself to resistance training. She rediscovered her strength, both physical and mental. She lost dress sizes – SIX in fact – but gained her own unique style!
